Studio Blanka Keramika was founded by academic sculptor Blanka Kraisnik with a simple belief: creating something with your own hands has the power to slow us down, inspire curiosity, and reconnect us with what truly matters. Today, the studio brings together contemporary ceramics, thoughtful design, and creative experiences where craftsmanship is shared through every collection and every workshop.
Our approach combines traditional techniques with contemporary design. Every piece we make, every workshop we lead, every program we design reflects our belief that working with clay is a path to authentic creative expression.

Every piece follows a process that cannot be rushed. From the first touch of clay to the final firing, time is as much a part of the craft as the hands that shape each piece.
Every piece begins by hand, either through hand-building or on the pottery wheel. This is where the clay takes on its first form and begins to reveal its character.
Once shaped, each piece is left to dry naturally over several days. This slower pace is essential, allowing the clay to strengthen before its journey through the kiln begins.
The first firing transforms clay into ceramic, preparing each piece for glazing. It is at this stage that the object gains its lasting strength.
Each piece is carefully glazed by hand, giving it its distinctive colour, texture, and character. Because no two surfaces are ever exactly the same, every piece is inherently unique.
The final firing permanently fuses the glaze with the ceramic, revealing each piece's finished appearance while giving it the strength and durability to be used and enjoyed every day.
We believe in the value of handwork and skill that develops through time and practice.
Each piece carries the trace of the hand that made it. Imperfection is part of the story.
